How it works

You send your text for processing to me via email (e.g., .docx, .sdlppx, or by logging into a relevant digital translation platform), the text is processed, and I send an invoice.

We establish an agreement, and you send me text for processing as needed. Convenient if you receive content of varying sizes at different times. Invoices are sent at the end of each month.

About quality control

To ensure that you end up with high-quality texts, I use the digital translation tool Trados Studio where it is useful. This tool acts as an extra layer of quality control by weeding out typos that the naked eye does not always catch and by ensuring continuity – meaning that the text uses the correct terms and the same terms throughout the text when desired.

Trados Studio has built-in spell check and grammar as well as a translation memory (TM) that is continuously updated based on ongoing translation work.
